Overview - Wheel Bearing And Multi-Link Suspension

- 50 Nm +45°
- Replace after removal.
Cover
Bracket
Bolt
- 90 Nm +90°
- Replace after removal.
Coupling Rod
- Connects stabilizer to trailing link/wheel bearing housing
Bolt
- 90 Nm +45°
- Replace after removal.
- Follow tightening sequence. Refer to INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 8 Nm
Right Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor -G44- /Left Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor -G46-
- Can be checked in Guided Fault Finding using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- Before inserting sensor, clean inner surface of mounting hole and coat with Polycarbamide grease G 000 650.
Wheel Bearing Housing
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING HOUSING .
Wheel Bearing Seal
- Allocation.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING SEAL .
Trailing Link
- Removing and Installing. Refer to TRAILING ARM WITH MOUNTING BRACKET .
- Servicing. Refer to TRAILING ARM, SERVICING .
Bonded Rubber Bushing
- Replace. Refer to WHEEL BEARING HOUSING BONDED RUBBER BUSHING, REPLACING .
Nut
- 45 Nm
- Replace after removal.
Bonded Rubber Bushing
- Replace. Refer to TRAILING ARM, SERVICING .
Cover Plate
Bolt
- 12 Nm
Wheel Hub with Wheel Bearing
- The ABS sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING UNIT, MULTI-LINK SUSPENSION .
  The wheel bearing and wheel hub are installed together in a housing.
  
  The wheel bearing unit is maintenance free and has zero play. Adjusting or servicing is not possible!
Bolt
200 Nm +90°
- Replace after removal.
- Loosen and tighten using Bit XZN 18mm T10162A.
Dust Cap
- Replace after removal.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING UNIT, MULTI-LINK SUSPENSION .
  An appropriate seal can only be achieved with a new dust cap.
Brake Rotor
Bolt
- 4 Nm
