EGR Cooler: Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION OVERVIEW .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace gaskets, seals and self-locking nuts.

The hose connections as well as the air guide pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.

Secure hose connections with standard production clamps.

When installing, install all heat shield boots back in the same positions.

-- Install the turbocharger support with oil supply line, the intake tube and the pulsation damper. Refer to TURBOCHARGER .

-- Install the air duct hoses and screw-type clamps CHARGE AIR HOSE CONNECTIONS .

-- Install the particulate filter. Refer to Installing .

-- Check the coolant level COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
