Coolant Pump: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Coat the new O-ring -3- with coolant.

-- Insert coolant pump -2- into cylinder block and tighten securing bolts -1-.

NOTE: The sealing plug of the coolant pump faces downward.

-- Install the toothed belt. Refer to TOOTHED BELT .

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT WITH TENSIONER AND A/C COMPRESSOR .

-- Fill the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
