Airbag Unit With Igniter: Installing

-- Connect the airbag connector -1- in the connector. The airbag connector must click when it locks.

-- Connect the connector -2-. This is necessary only on the multifunction steering wheel.

-- Press the airbag unit -3- into the steering wheel until it audibly engages.

-- Gently pull on the airbag unit to make sure the it is locked securely inside steering wheel on the left and right sides.

-- Turn on the ignition.

WARNING: Make sure that no persons are in the vehicle.

-- Connect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
