Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-: Removing

-- Remove the cover for the intake air duct, disengage the side clips -arrows - to do so.

-- Unclip the lower intake air duct, disengage the clips -arrows- to do so.

-- Remove both the lower intake air duct and the air duct tube.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -4-.

-- Disconnect electrical connector -arrow-.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Remove the charge air hose by loosening the clamps -1 and 2-.

-- Seal off the connection on the charge air cooler with a clean cloth.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the charge air pipe downward.

-- Remove the throttle valve control module. Refer to Throttle Valve Control Module -J338- .

-- Remove the intake manifold support by removing the nut -2- and bolt -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the ECT sensor.

-- Remove the ECT sensor -2-, to do so, press the latches -arrow-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the ECT sensor.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the retaining plate -1-.

-- Remove the ECT sensor.
