Wiring Harness, Sensors: Procedure

-- Drain the ATF. Refer to ATF, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the ATF pan. Refer to Removing .

-- Remove the ATF strainer. Refer to Removing .

-- Remove the valve body. Refer to Removing .

-- Disconnect the sensor connector -1- from the transmission connector.

-- Remove the bolt from the 8-pin transmission connector.

-- Remove the connector and the wiring harness from the transmission housing.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Replace the O-ring on the connector.

-- Coat the O-ring with ATF.

-- Push the connector with a new O-ring all the way into the transmission.

-- Tighten the bolt for the 8-pin transmission connector. For the correct tightening specification.

-- Install the valve body. Refer to Installing .

-- Install the ATF strainer. Refer to Installing .

-- Install the ATF pan. Refer to Installing .

-- Fill the ATF and check the level. Refer to ATF LEVEL, CHECKING .
