Vacuum Pump: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Make sure the vacuum pump coupling is seated correctly in the camshaft.

Replace the seal.

-- Install the vacuum pump and the loosely attach the bolts.

-- Connect the vacuum line from the brake booster to the connection -1- for the vacuum pump -2-.

Tightening sequence

-- Tighten the vacuum pump -A- in the sequence -1- through -4-.
