Cylinder Head Cover: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the cylinder head cover gasket and the cylinder head cover bolts if they are damaged or if there are leaks.

Replace the fuel injector seal and the grommet if they are damaged or leak.

-- Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts in sequence -1- through -7-.

-- Make sure the cylinder head cover is correctly attached to the toothed belt guard -arrows-.

NOTE: The installation location is best shown with the camshaft sprocket removed.

-- Check the clearance between the hub and the toothed belt guard.

-- Install the high pressure reservoir (Rail) and the fuel injection units, refer to FUEL INJECTORS .

-- Install Differential Pressure Sensor -G505-.
