Vacuum Pump: Installing

-- Clean the sealing surfaces.
-- Turn the vacuum pump coupling plate so that it engages in the camshaft groove when installing the vacuum pump.
-- Install new deal on the vacuum pump, stick the two bolts through and install the vacuum pump with a new seal on the cylinder head.
-- While doing so pay attention that it lays flush on the flange.
Assemble in reverse order of disassembly.
-- Install the high pressure pump with roller tappet, refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP .
Tightening Specifications
- Vacuum pump to cylinder head, bolt -item 30.
