High Pressure Pump Overview

Auxiliary Components Bracket
- Removing and installing. Refer to AUXILIARY COMPONENTS BRACKET .
Bolt
- Replace after removing
- 20 Nm +180°
Hub
- Use the Counterhold T10051 to loosen and tighten
- Use the Ignition Coil Puller T40064 to remove.
Toothed Belt Gear for the High Pressure Pump
Bolt
- Replace after removing
- 20 Nm
Nut
- 95 Nm
Bolt
- Replace after removing
- 20 Nm +45°
High Pressure Pump
- With Fuel Metering Valve -N290- not opened
- After replacing, the fuel tank must be filled (never run dry), refer to FUEL SYSTEM, FILLING/BLEEDING
- Removing and installing. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP .

High-Pressure Lines
- Between the intermediate gear and the high pressure reservoir (rail)
- Do not interchange
- 28 Nm
  NOTE:
  When using the high pressure line again, pay attention to the cylinder marking.
  
  The high pressure lines can be reused only after the following checks:
  
  Check the sealing cone on each high pressure line for deformation and cracks.
  
  The bores for the lines must not be deformed, narrowed or damaged.
  
  Do not use corroded lines again.
