Replacing Reservoir, No Contaminants, No Loss Of Refrigerant

-- Discharge the refrigerant circuit.

-- Replace the restrictor depending on the vehicle.

-- Remove receiver or accumulator.

-- Remove dirt from receiver or reservoir.

-- Weigh removed receiver/dryer or reservoir.

NOTE:

Add refrigerant oil to the reservoir or receiver/dryer until it is the same weight as the component that was removed.

Install new receiver/dryer or reservoir.

-- Assemble, evacuate and charge the refrigerant circuit.
