Caps On Heater And A/C Unit: Removing

NOTE:
The closure caps -2- on the heater and A/C unit -1- must not be removed.
If the heater and A/C unit is replaced -1-, make sure that the closure caps -2- are reinstalled.
If ignored, the air distribution in the passenger compartment will not be even.
-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- Remove the center console. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENTS AND COVERS .
-- Remove the closure caps -2- from the heater and A/C unit -1-.
