Dryer Cartridge: Removing

-- Extract the refrigerant with the A/C Service Station VAS 6007A (or newer model) from the refrigerant circuit.

-- Remove the front bumper. Refer to FRONT BUMPER .

-- Remove the left front air guide. Refer to LOCK CARRIER OVERVIEW, SEDAN .

-- Remove the screw -1- (2 Nm).

-- Remove the dryer cartridge -4- bracket -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -3- (coolant cooler on the lock carrier) (5 Nm).

-- Remove the dryer cartridge -4- screws -5- (2 Nm).

-- Remove the dryer cartridge -1- upward in the direction of -arrow B- from the lock carrier -2-. Slightly push the coolant cooler with the condenser toward the rear in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Seal the dryer cartridge and condenser with the Engine Bung Set VAS 6122.

-- Replace the dryer cartridge -1- sealing ring -3- before installing.
