MISFUELING Guard, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Insert the misfueling guard into the fuel filler tube.

-- Insert the narrow tab on the misfueling guard into the groove in the fuel filler tube -arrows-.

-- Turn the locking ring clockwise 25° and install it using locking ring pliers.

-- If installed correctly, the markings on the locking ring and on the fuel filler tube will be opposite each other -arrows-.
