Crankshaft Seal, Replacing, Belt Pulley Side: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE: The sealing lip of the sealing ring may not be additionally oiled or greased.

-- Remove any oil residue on the crankshaft pins with a clean cloth.

-- Position the Guide Sleeve T10053/1 on the crankshaft pin.

-- Slide sealing ring over guide sleeve onto the crankshaft pin.

-- Press the seal in all the way with the Thrust Sleeve T10053 and the center bolt.

-- Install the crankshaft toothed belt gear. See -item  2-.

-- Install the toothed belt and tension it. Refer to TOOTHED BELT .
