Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the right front wheel housing liner, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Remove the toothed belt, refer to TOOTHED BELT .

-- Tighten the crankshaft toothed belt gear bolt using the Counterhold - Crankshaft Sprocket 3415.

-- Remove the bolt, and remove the crankshaft toothed belt gear.

-- Remove the oil pan upper section, refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION .

-- Remove the rest of the bolts and carefully loosen the sealing flange from the bonding.

-- Remove the sealant residue on the cylinder block and the oil pan upper section with a commercially available chemical sealant remover.

-- Sealing surfaces must be completely free of oil and grease.
