Auxiliary Components Bracket: Removing

-- Drain the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Loosen the hose clamp -3- and -5-.

-- Disconnect the connector from the Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31- -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -4- and then remove the air guide pipe downward.

-- Remove fan shroud, refer to FAN SHROUD .

-- Remove right front wheel housing liner, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Cover the radiator with a suitable materials to prevent damage.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the air guide pipe by lifting the clamps -2- and opening the hose clamp -3-.

-- Disconnect the connector from the A/C compressor.

-- Remove A/C compressor bolts and remove the A/C compressor with attached refrigerant lines from the sub-assembly bracket.

-- Remove the intake manifold bracket by removing the mounting nut -1- and bolt -2-.

-- Remove the generator, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Unclip the cable bracket -arrows- for the lower Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428- -2- from the subassembly bracket and engine.

-- Disconnect the connectors for the Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428- -2-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrow- for the Oil Pressure Switch -F1- -3-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrow- for the Reduced Oil Pressure Switch -F378- -2-.

-- Remove the oil filter element, refer to 14.2Engine Oil, Draining or Extracting and Filling, Replacing Oil Filter.

-- Remove the bolt -1- for the oil dipstick guide tube.

Unclip the guide tube from the upper cover for the timing chain in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Free up the wiring harness.

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray VAS6208 under engine.

-- Remove the bolts -1- through -5- and remove the sub-assembly bracket from the coolant pump housing.
