Overview - Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side

Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or felt-tip marker. Reversing the running direction on a used belt can destroy it
- Do not kink
- Ribbed belt routing, refer to Install the ribbed belt as illustrated
- When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys
- Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT .
Ribbed Belt Tensioner
- To release tension on ribbed belt, pivot using a wrench.
- Secure using Locking Pin T10060A
- Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER .
Bolt
- 8 Nm + 45°
- Replace after removing
Bolt
- 150 Nm + 90°
- Replace after removing
- Lubricate O-ring
- Use the Counterhold - Vibration Damper T10475 to loosen and tighten
  CAUTION:
  Danger of causing damage to the engine.
  - Do not turn the crankshaft when a bolt is removed because this will offset the timing.
O-Ring
- Not a replacement part; supplied with the bolt
Vibration Damper
- With ribbed belt pulley
- Removing and installing, refer to VIBRATION DAMPER .
  CAUTION:
  Danger of causing damage to the engine.
  - In order not to change the valve timing, the crankshaft must not be moved out of the "TDC" position when the vibration damper is removed.
Auxiliary Components Bracket
- Removing and installing, refer to AUXILIARY COMPONENTS BRACKET .
Seal
- Replace after removing
Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 2.
Bolt
- Tightening specification, refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
Generator
- Assembly Overview, refer to DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION .
Alignment Sleeves
- For A/C compressor
A/C Compressor
- Do not remove or disconnect refrigerant lines
- Assembly Overview, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Bolt
- Tightening specification, refer to SPECIFICATIONS .

-- Mount the accessory assembly bracket and then install the bolt -4- by hand.

-- Then install the remaining bolts by hand.

-- Tighten bolts in three stages in sequence -1- through -5- as follows:

Stage	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-1- through -5-	Tighten by hand
2.	-1- through -5-	Tighten to 20 Nm
3.	-1- through -5-	Tighten an additional 90°
