Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Special Hook10 - 222 A /20
• Bracket 2024 A /1, from the Engine Sling2024 A
• Shop CraneVAS 6100

Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Hose Clamps

• Engine/transmission assembly removed and mounted on Engine/Transmission SupportT10012.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the coolant hoses from the transmission fluid cooler.

-- Hook the Engine Sling2024 A hooks on the transmission lifting eyes.

-- Secure the hook with the securing pin -arrow-.

-- Attach the Workshop CraneVAS 6100 with the Adapter10 - 222 A /20 to the lifting tackle.

-- Free up the wiring harness -arrows- and the connector -1- on the bracket.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -2- and then remove the starter from the transmission.

-- Remove the bolts -1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10- that connect the transmission to the engine.

-- Remove transmission from engine.
