Wheel Bearing Housing Bonded Rubber Bushing, Replacing: Installing

Pulling in Bonded Rubber Bushing

-- Mount the tools as shown in the illustration.

-- Turn the spindle and pull the bonded rubber bushing into the wheel bearing housing -4-.

NOTE:

Do not use lubricant!

Insert the bearing carefully so that it is not tilted.

-- Install the cover plate.

NOTE:

Bolting at wheel bearing housing may occur only when dimension "a" has been obtained WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING !

-- Tighten bolt -arrow- for lower transverse link -1-.

-- Install coil spring. Refer to SPRING, MULTI-LINK SUSPENSION .

-- Install the wheel and tighten the wheel bolts. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
