Installing Locating Pins T10096

-- Move the Engine/Gearbox Jack VAG 1383A under the subframe and secure it using the tensioning strap.

-- Unscrew one of the front bolts of the subframe -arrow-.

-- Screw in the Locating Pins T10096 -1-.

NOTE:

Locating Pins T10096 may only be tightened to a maximum of 20 Nm, since otherwise the threads of the locating bolts will be damaged.

-- The same procedure must be performed for the second front bolt of the subframe.

Position of subframe is now secured.
