SUBFRAME Overview

Eccentric Screw
- For camber setting.
- Perform a vehicle alignment after loosening. Refer to VEHICLE ALIGNMENT .
Nut
- 95 Nm
- Replace after removal.
- Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING .
- Self-locking
Eccentric Washer
- Inner bore with tab.
Eccentric Screw
- For toe setting.
- Perform a vehicle alignment after loosening.. Refer to VEHICLE ALIGNMENT .
Eccentric Washer
- Inner bore with tab.
Nut
- 95 Nm
- Replace after removal.
- Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING .
  NOTE:
  Adjust the Torque Wrench 40-200Nm VAG 1332 to 80 Nm to tighten the nut.
  
  This tightening specification does only apply in conjunction with Insert Tool 18T10179.

- 70Nm + 180° turn
- Replace after removing
Lower Transverse Link
- Removing and Installing. Refer to LOWER TRANSVERSE LINK .
Nut
- 70 Nm +180°
- Self-locking
- Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING .
- Replace after removal.
Bolt
- Replace after removal.
Threaded Rivet
- M6
Expanding Rivet
Stone Chip Protection
- Allocation.
Bolt
- 8 Nm
Nut
- Self-locking
- Replace after removal.
- Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING .
Bolt
- 130 Nm +180°
- Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING .
- Replace after removal.
Upper Transverse Link
- Removing and Installing. Refer to UPPER TRANSVERSE LINK .
Washer
Nut
- Self-locking
- Replace after removal.
- Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING .
Wheel Bearing Housing
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING HOUSING .
Washer
Bolt
- 130 Nm +180° additional turn
- Replace after removal.
- Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING .
Tie Rod
- Opened downward (the right and left tie rods are the same).
- Allocation.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to TIE ROD .
Bolt
- Always replace if removed.
Nut
- 70 Nm +180°
- Replace after removal.
- Self-locking
- Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE WITH COIL SPRING .
