Exhaust System, Installing Without Tension

Engine must be cold.

-- Loosen the front clamping sleeve -1- bolts -3- and -4-.

-- Align front clamping sleeve -1- to marking -A- on front exhaust pipe -2- (-arrow- faces in direction of travel).

Dimension -a- = 5 mm
The connections must be at the right and must not project beyond the lower edge of the clamping sleeve.

-- Push the rear muffler as far forward into the clamping sleeve until dimension -a- of 6 - 7 mm is reached between the suspended mount/body and the suspended mount/rear muffler. -Arrow- indicates direction of travel.

-- Align rear muffler horizontally.

-- Tighten the threaded connections of the clamping sleeve in this position. Installation position and tightening torque. Refer to CLAMPING SLEEVE LOCATIONS .
