Coolant Pump 2 -V178-: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- Remove the air guide hose by loosening hose clamps -1- and -2-.

WARNING: Danger of personal injury due to the coolant fan turning on by itself.

The coolant fan can come on even when the ignition is turned off, for example, caused by the heat still in the engine compartment.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the clamp -2- and move the right air guide pipe to the right.

NOTE: Place a cloth under engine coolant circulation pump 2 -V178- to catch any leaking coolant.

-- Open the clamps -3-. Then remove both the coolant hoses and the clamps 3094.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and Engine Coolant Circulation Pump 2 -V178-.
