Left Coolant Pipe: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace gaskets, seals and O-rings.

The hose connections as well as the air guide pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.

Secure hose connections with standard production clamps.

-- Clean and/or smooth the sealing surfaces of the O-rings.

-- Coat the O-ring with coolant and slide it onto the front coolant pipe.

-- Connect the front coolant pipe in the 4/2-way valve.

-- Electrical connections and wiring routing. Refer to Wiring diagrams, Troubleshooting & Component locations.

-- Fill the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
