Shaft Seal
- For the crankshaft on the transmission side
- Replacing, refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REPLACING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .
Alignment Sleeve
- Quantity: 2
Lower Timing Chain Cover
- Removing and installing, refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Left Cylinder Head Gasket
Bolt
- Tightening specification, refer to -Item 13- in OVERVIEW - COOLANT PIPES .
Upper Rear Coolant Pipe
- depending on the version with additional threaded connection
- Removing and installing, refer to UPPER REAR COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Nut
- Only for specific engines
- 9 Nm
Double Bolt
- Only for specific engines
- Replacing
- Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 2.
Left Timing Chain Cover
- Removing and installing, refer to LEFT TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Tightening specification, refer to -Item 12- in OVERVIEW - IGNITION SYSTEM .

NOTE: Replace any bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Tighten the bolts in steps in the sequence shown:

Step	Bolts	Tightening specification/additional turn
1.	-1 to 8-	5 Nm
2.	-1 to 8-	Tighten an additional 90°

NOTE: The mount -arrow- is affixed with the timing chain guard.

1.	-Arrows-	5 Nm
2.	-2 to 8-	8 Nm diagonally
3.	-Arrows-	10 Nm
4.	-2 to 8-	in a diagonal sequence, turn an additional 90°
5.	-Arrows-	Tighten an additional 90°
6.	-1-	Vehicles through MY 2013, refer to OVERVIEW - POWER STEERING PUMP . Vehicles from MY 2014: not present
