-- Pull the hood release lever -1- and release the hood.

-- Insert a small screwdriver into the gap between the release lever -1- and the clip -2-.

-- Pry the clip -2- out of the release lever -1- -arrow a- and then remove the release lever from the mounting bracket -3- -arrow b-.
