Emergency Release From P, ZF

Do Not Remove the Handle.

-- Press the brake pedal or set the parking brake.

-- Open the storage compartment door.

-- Grab under the shift cover by hand and by pulling upward unclip the cover.

-- Hold the shift cover to the side and from above push the yellow plastic part and hold it in this position.

The selector lever can now be moved out of >>P<<.

NOTE:

If the selector lever is shifted back into "P", the shift lock solenoid will mechanically lock the selector lever in the "P" position again. The solenoid must be released again.
