Torque Wrench 1331 5-50Nm:VAG1331
Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit:SMN372500

CAUTION:

This procedure contains mandatory replaceable parts. Refer to component overview prior to starting procedure.

Mandatory Replacement Parts

Bolts - DSG^® Transmission Mechatronic - J743
Bolts - Transmission Fluid Pan
Bolts - Transmission Fluid Pump Cover
O-rings - DSG^® Transmission Mechatronic - J743
Seal - Transmission Fluid Drain and Check Plug
Seal - Transmission Fluid Pan

Make sure no dirt enters an >>open<< transmission.

Dirt entering can cause a transmission malfunction especially with >>open<< Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG^® ) Mechatronic and/or transmission fluid pump.

The Mechatronic can get stuck on the alignment pins when the transmission is very warm. Let the transmission cool down.
