Upper Toothed Belt Guard, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the connector couplings -1 and 2- for the fuel lines and remove the fuel lines. Disconnect the couplings. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, SEPARATING .

-- Remove the fuel filter and place it with the lines connected on the engine. Refer to FUEL FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- -B- using a tool from the :T10395A .

-- Open the clamp -A-, pull out the coolant hose and push it aside.

-- Open the heat shield boot -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- and free up the wire.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -4-.

-- Disconnect the vacuum hose -arrow- and free it up.

-- Release and disconnect the Reducing Agent Injector -N474- connector from the bulkhead.

-- Free up the wire.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -1-.

-- Free up the coolant line -3- and the selective catalytic reduction lines -2-.

-- Remove the Reducing Agent Injector -N474- and lay it to the right side.

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Loosen the clamps -1- and remove the hoses.

-- Free up pipes -2-.

-- Move the pipes -2- aside.

-- Release the retainers in direction of -arrows- and remove the upper toothed belt guard -1-.
