Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-, CHECKING: Procedure

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER .
-- Loosen the clamp -arrow- and remove fuel hose from the high pressure reservoir.
-- Seal the open return line connections with a blind plug.
-- Connect the hose -3- to the return connection for the high pressure reservoir -2-.
1) Checking with the Engine Running
-- Start the engine and let it run in idle.
- Specified Value: In 30 Seconds Greater Than 75 ml (2.5 Oz)
If The Specified Value Is Not Attained, Then The Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- Is Faulty .
2) Checking with the Engine Running
If the requirement under 1) is met
Increase The Engine Speed Greater Than 2000 RPM.
- Specified Value: return quantity 0 ml
- A small amount of dripping is permissible.
- If the Specified Value Is Not Attained, then the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- is faulty .
3) The Engine Does Not Start.
Perform The Test At Cranking Speed.
- Specified value: return quantity 0 ml
- A small amount of dripping is permissible.
- If the Specified Value Is Not Attained, then the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- is faulty .
-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER .
