Right Seal On Right Flange Shaft, Replacing, Fwd With Front Axle Differential Lock: Installing

-- Lightly oil the new gasket on the outer edge.

-- Install the seal all the way without tilting it.

-- Fill the area between the sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- halfway with Sealing Grease.

Circlip Arrow, Replacing

-- Press in the flange shaft all the way by hand.

-- Carefully drive in the flange shaft without tilting.

-- Tighten the flange shaft with a bolt.

-- Fill the front axle differential lock. Refer to FRONT AXLE DIFFERENTIAL LOCK FLUID .

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

-- Install the right driveshaft. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, install the driveshaft heat shield -arrows-. Refer to DRIVE AXLE HEAT SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
