Version 2:
-- Disconnect the connector -2- on the Charge Air Pressure Actuator Position Sensor -G581-.
-- Remove the vacuum hose -1- from the turbocharger vacuum diaphragm.
When removing and installing the circlip the force on the lever system is to be kept as low as possible. Pushing down the circlip for example with a large screwdriver can cause damage to the turbocharger.
-- Remove the circlip -4-.
-- Remove the vacuum diaphragm bolts -3-.
-- Disengage the control rod on the adjusting lever and remove the vacuum diaphragm with the Charge Air Pressure Actuator Position Sensor -G581-.
-- Engage the control rod on the adjusting lever.
-- Insert the vacuum diaphragm and install the bolts -3- by hand all the way.

Continuation For All Versions:
-- Tighten the three bolts.
-- Seal the bolts with sealing wax from the repair kit.
-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Start the engine and erase the DTC memory. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Perform a basic setting for the vacuum diaphragm.
-- Follow the following path for the basic setting:
Diagnostic-capable systems
Engine electronic functions
Basic setting
Turbocharger adaptation
-- Slide the vacuum diaphragm in the direction of -arrow-, until the voltage value on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester shows from 0.75 ± 0.02 volt.
-- Tighten the bolts -1- to 10 Nm.
-- Slide the slider ring -1- on the :VAS6213 in the position -B- to vent the vacuum diaphragm until it reaches ambient temperature.
Check The Voltage Value
-- Set the slider ring -1- on the :VAS6213 in position -A- for "Vacuum".
-- Run the : VAS6213 until the pressure gauge shows a vacuum between -650 to -700 mbar (- 9.42 psi to - 10.15 psi).
-- The voltage value on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester should show between 0.75 ± 0.02 volts
