Turbocharger Connections, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- If installed, remove the vacuum hose -arrow-.

CAUTION:

Depending on the market-specific vehicle version, crankcase ventilation hoses may be used that cannot be removed from the cylinder head cover without being destroyed. For these versions, the crankcase ventilation hose may only be separated at the air duct hose connection.

-- Remove the crankcase ventilation hose -4- from the air duct hose.

-- Press the release to do so.

-- Release and disconnect the connector on the air duct hose.

-- Free up the vacuum hose on the air duct pipe -arrows-.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -2- and remove the air duct pipe from the Mass Airflow Sensor -G70-.

-- Remove the bolt -5-.

-- Turn the air duct pipe with connection toward the rear.

-- Turn toward the rear until the guides on the connection turn out of the locking mechanism.

-- Remove the air duct pipe with connection from the turbocharger.
