Bolts And Nuts

Loosen or tighten screws and nuts on the covers or housings diagonally.
Tightening specifications for non-lubricated bolts and nuts are given.
Use a wire brush to clean the threads of bolts that were screwed in with locking compound. Insert the bolts with Locking Fluid.
Clean the threaded holes for the self-locking bolts or for the bolts coated with locking fluid. If the holes are not cleaned, then the bolts could break off the next time they are removed.
Always replace self-locking nuts and bolts.
