Reducing Agent Delivery Line Rear Section, Removing And Installing: Notes

Removing

-- Observe the safety precautions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Observe safety precautions when working on the selective catalytic reduction system. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING ON SCR SYSTEM .

-- To catch escaping reducing agent place a clean cloth under the coupling point.

-- Seal all the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the :VAS6122 .

-- Remove the right rear underbody trim panel. Refer to REAR UNDERBODY TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect and unclip the reducing agent delivery line from the reducing agent tank. Refer to REDUCING AGENT TANK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the reducing agent delivery line from the delivery module for the reducing agent.

-- Disconnect the connector for the reducing agent line. Refer to REDUCING AGENT DELIVERY LINE, DISCONNECTING .

-- To catch escaping reducing agent place a clean cloth under the coupling point.

-- Seal all the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the :VAS6122 .

-- Disconnect the reducing agent delivery line from the connection location in the area of the rear axle. Refer to REDUCING AGENT DELIVERY LINE, DISCONNECTING .

-- Disconnect the connector for the reducing agent line. Refer to REDUCING AGENT DELIVERY LINE, DISCONNECTING .

-- Unclip, release and remove the reducing agent delivery line connector from the bracket in the rear axle area.

-- Unclip the reducing agent delivery line from all the brackets on the assembly.
