Fan Shroud, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION .

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the left charge air hose -A-.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of injury if the radiator fan turns on by itself.

Disconnect the connectors.

-- Disconnect the radiator fan connector -1-. To do this push the securing device in direction of -arrow A- in the direction of the arrow and push the release downward.

-- Push the left and right locking latches for the fan shroud at the same time in direction of -arrow B- and remove the fan shroud upward from the radiator and remove from underneath.
