Cooling System, Flushing, Brief Instructions

1	Coolant, Draining	---
2	Fill the cooling system with distilled water	---
3	Disconnect the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62- connector	---
4	Let the engine idle.	---
5	Clamp off the bleeder hose for the heat exchanger -1- and the cylinder head -2- and flush the cooling system	Nine liters of distilled water (9.5 quarts)
6	Clamp off the bleeder hose for the heat exchanger -1- and the radiator -3- and flush the cooling system	Two liters of distilled water (2.11 quarts)
7	Clamp off the bleeder hose for the cylinder head -2- and the radiator -3- and flush the cooling system	Two liters of distilled water (2.11 quarts)
8	Remove all hose pinch-off pliers, flush the cooling system	Six liters of distilled water (6.34 quarts)
9	Clamp off the bleeder hose for the heat exchanger -1- and the cylinder head -2- and flush the cooling system	Five liters of coolant (5.28 quarts)
10	Clamp off the bleeder hose for the heat exchanger -1- and the radiator -3- and flush the cooling system	Five liters of coolant (5.28 quarts)
11	Clamp off the bleeder hose for the cylinder head -2- and the radiator -3- and flush the cooling system	Two liters of coolant (2.11 quarts)
12	Remove all hose pinch-off pliers, flush the cooling system	Six liters of coolant (6.34 quarts)
13	Switch the engine off.	---
14	Empty the coolant expansion tank and fill with coolant concentrate	---
15	Connect the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62- connector	---
16	Allow engine to run until the radiator fan turns on.	---
