Heater Support Pump -V488-, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING:

The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.

Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

Reduce pressure by covering the coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and carefully opening.

-- Open the coolant reservoir cap -arrow-.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- If necessary, remove the right drive axle. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the heat protection sleeve -3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Disconnect the coolant hose from the Heater Support Pump -V488- with the :3094 .

-- Place a cleaning cloth underneath to catch any coolant leaking out.

-- Loosen the clamps -arrows-.

-- Remove the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Remove the Heater Support Pump -V488- with the bracket.
