Overview - Cylinder Head

NOTE:
Replace any bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Tighten the bolts in steps in the sequence shown:

-- Check the cylinder head at several locations for distortion using a Straight Edge - 500 mm VAS 6075 and a feeler gauge.
- Maximum permissible warpage: 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.).
Resurfacing cylinder head (face grinding) is only permissible to minimum dimension -a-.
- Minimum dimension -a- = 139.5 mm (5.492 in.)
