Clutch Assembly Overview: SACHS

- Dual Mass Flywheel
- Removing and installing, refer to Removal and Installation .
- Make sure it fits securely on the centering pins.
- Keep the clutch lining contact surface free of grooves, oil and grease.
- Clutch Disc
- Only replace together with the pressure plate.
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH, SACHS .
- Installed position, refer to Figure.
- Pressure Plate
- With an adjustment mechanism.
- Only replace together with the clutch disc.
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH, SACHS .
- Checking the ends of the diaphragm spring, refer to Figure.
- Checking the spring and rivet connections, refer to Figure.
- From approximately from May 11: Release bearing with additional plastic washer. Refer to Figure, adapted pressure plate, refer to Figure.
- Bolt
- M6 bolt: 13 Nm
- M7 bolt: 20 Nm
- Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
