Clutch Assembly Overview: LUK

  1. Dual Mass Flywheel
    • Removing and installing, refer to Removal and Installation .
    • Make sure it fits securely on the centering pins.
    • Keep the clutch lining contact surface free of grooves, oil and grease.
  2. Clutch Disc
    • Only replace together with the Self Adjusting Clutch (SAC) pressure plate.
    • Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
    • Installed position, refer to Figure.
  3. SAC Pressure Plate
    • SAC = "Self Adjusting Clutch"
    • Only replace together with the clutch disc.
    • Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
    • Checking the ends of the diaphragm spring, refer to Figure.
    • Checking the spring and rivet connections, refer to Figure.
    • From approximately from May 11: Release bearing with additional plastic washer. Refer to Figure, adapted pressure plate, refer to Figure
  4. Bolt
    • M6 bolt: 13 Nm
    • M7 bolt: 20 Nm
    • Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
