Input Shaft Overview

NOTE:
Install all input shaft bearings with transmission fluid.
Always replace the grooved ball bearing -item 18-.
- Clutch Housing
- Roller Bearing
- Locking Ring
- Install in the circumferential groove in the clutch housing.
- Locking Ring
- Secures the inner race/roller bearing.
- Inner Race/Roller Bearing
- 4th Gear
- Input Shaft
- Needle Bearing
- For 5th gear.
- 5th Gear
- Waved Washer
- Connected to the brass synchronizer ring.
- For parts
- 5th Gear Synchronizer Ring
- made of brass or steel.
- Checking for wear, refer to Figure.
- Locking Collar with Synchronizer Hub for 5th and 6th Gears
- Locking Ring
- Needle Bearing
- For 6th gear
- Synchronizer Ring for 6th Gear
- Made of brass or steel.
- Checking for wear, refer to Figure.
- Waved Washer
- Connected to the brass synchronizer ring.
- For parts
- 6th Gear
- Grooved Ball Bearing
- Always replace
- After removing the circlip, remove the 6th gear wheel. Refer to Figure.
- Installed position, refer to INPUT SHAFT SEAL .
