HALDEX Clutch, Checking For Proper Function

NOTE:

Check the Haldex clutch during a test drive using the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester.

WARNING:

Measurement and testing procedures should be performed as follow to avoid the risk of an accident:

Only the vehicle diagnostic tester VAS5051A or VAS5052 is used to read out measured value blocks. The device must always be secured on the rear seat and operated from there by a second person.

-- Connect the vehicle diagnostic tester.

-- Select "suspension (Repair Group 01; 40 through 49)" on the display.

-- Select "AWD with Haldex clutch (4th generation)" on the display.

-- Select "01 - system capable of on board diagnostics" on the display.

-- Select "functions" on the display.

-- Select "output diagnostic test mode" on the display.

-- Follow the instructions on the tester.
