HALDEX Clutch Components

The Haldex clutch has been redesigned. Beginning with the 2009 Tiguan, the new Haldex clutch (generation "Haldex IV") is being installed. It is also installed in the CC and the Golf R.

1. Seal
   • Coat with High Performance Gear Oil For Haldex Coupling 052 175 A2 and install.
   • Always replace.
2. Haldex Clutch Housing
   • Haldex clutch removing and installing. Refer to HALDEX CLUTCH .
3. All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-
   • With the Haldex clutch control valve.
   • Removing and installing, refer to All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- .
4. Bolt
   • 6 Nm
5. Input Flange Seal

   Removing and installing, refer to INPUT FLANGE SEAL .

6. Input Flange
   • Removing and installing, refer to INPUT FLANGE SEAL .
7. Nut
   • 210 Nm
   • Secure using Liquid Locking Fluid D 000 600.
8. Bolt
   • 50 Nm
   • Quantity: 4
9. Cover
   • For the oil filter housing.
   • A filter change is not required.
10. Cover
    • For the pressure reservoir.
      WARNING:

      Never open the cover, danger of injury!

11. Seal
    • Quantity: 2
    • Diameter: 34 mm
    • For the Haldex clutch pump.
    • Coat with High Performance Gear Oil For Haldex Coupling 052 175 A2 and install.
    • Always replace.
12. Haldex Clutch Pump -V181-
    • Removing and installing, refer to Haldex Clutch Pump -V181- .
13. Bolt
    • 6 Nm
