Charge Air Cooling Pump -V188-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VERSION 3: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION . .

If The Charge Air Cooling Pump -V188- Must Be Removed From The Engine Due To Lack Of Space

-- Release and remove the connector -3-.

-- Place a cloth underneath to catch any escaping coolant.

-- Unclip the wiring harness from the bracket.

-- Open the bracket for the coolant hose to the radiator. Disengage the coolant hose.

-- Unclip the bracket -6- for the coolant hose to the charge air cooler.

-- Remove both bolts -2- and remove the Charge Air Cooling Pump -V188- together with the bracket.

-- Move the Charge Air Cooling Pump -V188- to the side.

If The Charge Air Cooling Pump -V188- Must Be Removed:

-- Place the :VAS6208 underneath.

-- Release and remove the connector -3-.

NOTE:

Place a cloth underneath to catch any escaping coolant.

-- Clamp off the coolant hoses -1 and 5- using the :3094 .

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the coolant hoses.

-- Unclip the wiring harness from the bracket.

-- Open the bracket for the coolant hose to the radiator. Disengage the coolant hose.

-- Unclip the bracket -6- for the coolant hose to the charge air cooler.

-- Remove both bolts -2- and remove the Charge Air Cooling Pump -V188- together with the bracket.

If The Charge Air Cooling Pump -V188- Must Be Removed From The Bracket
