Right Rear Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing: Removing
When installing, secure all heat shield boots back in the same positions.
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Drain the coolant. Refer to DRAIN THE COOLANT .
-- Remove the rear coolant pipe. Refer to REAR COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the left coolant pipes. Refer to LEFT COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the front exhaust pipe. Refer to FRONT EXHAUST PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Open the heat shield boot -1-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -3, 4, 5 and 6- and free up the wiring harness.
-- Remove the bolt -2-.
-- Remove the air duct pipe with connection from the turbocharger. Refer to TURBOCHARGER CONNECTIONS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Free up and disconnect the wires on the connectors. Refer to the figure below;
-- Free up the wiring harness from the cylinder head cover.
-- Release the connector for the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- and remove. Refer to the figure above;
-- Push the heat shield boot aside and disconnect the connector -5-.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -3- and remove the air duct hose.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -4- and remove the coolant hose.
-- Remove the bolt -1- and loosen the bolt -2-.
-- Loosen the bolt -1- and remove the screw-type clamp.
-- Loosen the double bolt -2- and push the coolant pipe back slightly.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Push the catalytic converter with the particulate filter and EGR cooler toward the rear.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -1- and remove the coolant hose.
-- Remove the double bolt -2- and bolt -3-. Then remove the right rear coolant pipe.
