Coolant Thermostat For Cylinder Block Coolant Circuit, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seal.

-- Coat the seal with coolant.

-- Place the coolant thermostat housing on the coolant pump.

The centering pins on the coolant thermostat must fit into the guides -arrows- on the coolant pump.

-- Tighten the bolts on the coolant thermostat housing. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the coolant pump. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to Filling .
