Charge Air Cooler, Removing And Installing: Removing

CAUTION:

Extremely dangerous due to high-voltage.

Electrocution can cause death or very serious personal injury.

- Have the high-voltage system de-energized by a qualified person.

-- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Electrical A/C Compressor -V470-. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR .

-- Place the :VAS6208  underneath.

-- Clamp off the coolant hoses on the charge air cooler using the :3094  .

-- Remove the coolant pipes.

-- Open the clamp -1- and push the hose -arrow- to the side.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -1- and remove the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Pull the charge air cooler -1- forward and at the same time in direction of -arrow- out of the intake manifold.
