Charge Air Cooler, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Install the sealing strip -1- on the charge air cooler -2- in direction of -arrow-.

-- Install the new seal into the groove in the intake manifold.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- diagonally starting from the center and working outward.

-- Install the clamps -1-.

NOTE:

If there are small impressions on the slats. Refer to RADIATOR AND CONDENSER ASSEMBLY .

-- Install the fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

Extremely dangerous due to high-voltage.

Severe bodily injury or death by electrocution is possible.

- Have a qualified person put the high-voltage system back into service.

-- Bring the high-voltage system back into operation. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM, TURNING BACK ON .
